Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals.

Longer dives and shorter intervals, you say? How much longer can I stay at depth?

Well, if you dive to 50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes. That same dive using EANx32 gives you a NDL of 155 minutes, that's 75 extra minutes of dive time, almost twice as much time as you had on air!
